Die Specht And Sohne Zenith II ist eine Hommage an die klassische Tissot PRX. Das Modell Zenith II hat einen Durchmesser von 37mm/40mm für diejenigen, die eine diskretere Präsenz am Handgelenk bevorzugen.
1978 brachte die Marke die Original-PRX auf den Markt. Sie hatte ein flaches Gehäuse in Tonneau-Form mit scharfen Facetten und ein charakteristisches Armband mit großen, flexiblen Gliedern, die in das Gehäuse integriert waren. Im Inneren befand sich ein damals technologisch beeindruckendes Quarzwerk, das sie nicht nur zeitgemäß, sondern auch erschwinglich machte.
Sie war cool, stilvoll und vor allem eine Sportuhr, die ursprünglich unter dem Namen Seastar vorgestellt wurde. Es dauerte nicht lange, bis Tissot ihr eine eigene Bezeichnung gab, die für „Precise and Robust“ (präzise und robust) und die römische Zahl zehn stand, was zehn Atmosphären oder 100m Wasserdichtigkeit bedeutet.
Bis ins letzte Detail präzise, ist die Zenith II eine weitere erschwingliche Hommage in der Specht and Sohne Uhrenlinie.
